IMPT: ROLL CALL!!!

IF YOU READ THIS BLOG, PLZ STAND UP. Or comment and tell us who you are!

Aubrey and I are a little boggled regarding the high number of hits our blog gets, and we're super curious as to who reads this!

So, do us a favor and comment. :]

Francophilia

Damn you, A.P.C., for creating such beautiful, hard-to-get clothes that are SO expensive. Anyway, this fall's line is gorgeous with a lot of classic pieces.

I like this entire outfit, especially the Sailor coat and zip-up boots. The forest green jeans are nice, as well.

This short duffle plaid coat is nice. I don't care that plaid and flannel have become synonymous with stupid hipster hangers-on.

Simple lace-up ankle boots.

Buckle Up

So, as most everyone knows, bike culture is huge in Portland, OR. People take huge pride in what bikes they ride (fixed gears, 'fixies,' are very popular here, but I prefer the classier road bike) and dress accordingly. Along with rolled up skinny jeans, I've noticed an inordinate number of Chrome messenger bags in this city. Chrome makes extremely practical, waterproof messengers bags that diagonally buckle at the wearer's chest, making it extremely easy to re-wear.

My beat up army messenger bag has proven a bit annoying to wear while biking. It moves around a lot, so much that I have to swing its weight back behind me at every opportunity I get. Now, I want a Chrome bag for myself.

I like the olive + red the best

Chrome's signature buckle.

Not a fixie!

purchases.

some dresses i found today, much to the dismay of my bank account. although, it could be much worse--i found them at Whorever 21 (go figure, right?). though i will say, i've often found some of my favorite pieces there; you just have to dig for them. the best things are the ones there are only one or two of scattered in the far corners of the store, i find.

it occurs to me: Sydney is always posting things she bought from nice, classy places--the likes of Built By Wendy and Opening Ceremony--while i'm always looking for cheap shit on eGay and at places like Whorever 21 (props to Miss Kelly Duroncelet for coining that genius name, btw). lol. i'm so un-fancy. well, whatever. i have $750 of rent to pay every month, bitch.
